Lasy year a lot of columbias were thrown. Walter hit the 1 million(maybe it was 2 million) mark with a Icon 300, Traber was using the Icon a lot, Vogelsang used a Icon 2 and a Piranha Retro.

I've actually had pretty good luck with the last 4 Columbia balls I drilled.

Wicked B/R/T - Pretty condition specific, but shot 300 with it.
Wow Pearl - Nice even rolling ball.
Icon 300 - Actually a pretty versatile for a particle.
Formula - Only bowled with it twice League - 217,300,224, Sweeper - 247,196,258

Also, Wes Malott(sp) lead qualifying at the Dallas tour stop using the Alter Ego.

Most people joke say columbia sucks even thoguh they never have thrown a single ball from them.

Try one of their balls, im sure youll like it.

I dont like storm, but i dont say their equipment sucks, because it don't. I just dont like them for some odd reason. Its hard to explain.

Thank you CS.  Thats what ive been waiting for someone to say.  I personally love columbia. never had a ball from them that i didn't like.  and to tell the truth i don't like storm at all, or roto grip, or dyno thane, or brunswick.  but like CS said their equipment isn't crap.  it just doesn't match up with me.  I will say that i am still thinking about trying the Brunswick inferno but that is the first ball from them that i have wanted to try in about 4 years.  but come on people.  Some people like Columbia. some people don't.  So can we please just quit with these threads about this company sucks or this company can go suck my balls (pun not intended).

Now that I think about it, if your that good of a bowler, you can use any company and any type of ball, and still do good with it. So ha! Back off.

I just love Columbia stuff and other company's stuff that is made by Columbia. The hooking power and carry fits my game perfectly. I've had many Columbia balls over the years and I currently carry 2 Throttles, Throttle/R, just picked up a Full Throttle, and I have a MoRich Onslaught and have a Track Animal on the way. I've got all aspects covers. A couple of polished partices, a polished reactive, a dull reactive and a couple of dull particles. This covers just about all conditions. I keep everything maintained with my NOT vibrating Donkee spinner and longevity is no problemo. Thanks!

Yeah Mongo,  I mean, who threw that thing called the Messenger Ti, red/blue or black/gold, lol.  Ignorance truly must be bliss.

I couldn't survive without my TI B/S/P and Icon2 combo.
Shot 300 with the BSP and 801 with the Icon2 last year.
Just this past Thurs. night had my second 300 game and finished the night with an 814 set using my BSP.
These balls are awesome, IMHO.
I've heard alot on BR about Columbia's balls dying early. My BSP and Icon2 both have at least 250 games on them and have only lost a board or three overall. Which suits me just fine. I just clean them after every set with Mean Green sprayed on them and wipe them down with a hot water moistened microfiber towel. I've used the Hook Again system on the Icon2 twice now and it brings it back to @95% from 75%.
Got a spinner a while back and resanded and polished both balls back to factory.
Again, probably back to 95% of original.
I suppose you could call me a satisfied customer.

The original Messenger Ti is currently my favorite ball.  I don't have another ball in the bag (or on the rack) that gives me as good a reaction, on a medium-oil Christmas tree pattern, as the Mess Ti.

Although I am not predisposed toward liking Columbia, I'm definitely thinking of picking up a Wicked or a Mess Ti pearl.  And maybe a Wild.
