I picked mine up last night and tried it last night in league. Shot 258 276 284. 818 right out of the box with it. I cant even describe how impressed I was with the ball. If it wasnt for a couple shots in the 2nd and 3rd game where i grabbed the ball, I probably would have shot back to back 300's. First game I left 2 10 pins. I had mine drilled pin above bridge with cg kicked under ring finger a little. Gets down the lane very easy and has a nice smooth arc in the backend.

Synthetic lanes house shot. The put a decent amount of oil on the lanes. I was playing around 15 at arrows out to 10 at the breakpoint. I usually use my rapid fire at 2000 abralon there. With the arch Rival, I was like 1 board inside with my line than with my rapid fire. The ball went longer but covered a few more boards in the backend than my rapid fire. Both balls have identical layouts. I kept the Arch at the 4000 oob finish. Im going to use it again tonight.

Got mine on Tuesday and was not able to throw it in league as the volume put out for us is too light.  Threw it in practice and I got it to replace my last non-Columbia ball...The Special Agent.  It was very similar I did a longer Pin from axis label type of drilling.  Clean through fronts picks up same in midlane as my rival but after that it liked to start coming off the point much stronger, rival always seemed to be too smooth at times and this will even allowed me to get in and create entry angle as in my opinion rival would not do.  I used a 2000 Abralon as out of the box there was not enough surface, this I think really got me what I was looking for.  The box surface would have made the ball be to fast of a direction changer for me.

I gotta chance to put a few games on mine few days ago. Strong revving and strong smooth downlane reaction. It ate through carrydown like it wasn't there. I was on a medium oil house shot, and it's drilled 5" pin up.

I used mine again tonight at league and it already started to shine up from the night before. There wasnt as much oil as the night before but there was enough to easily get the ball down the lane. With the ball shined up a little from the night before it had a lot more backend. It wasnt snappy but made a very strong move when it hit the backend. This ball can easily be used on a medium oil shot.

how about on heavy oil? Coz, I believe that the Arch Rival is a good 5 board stronger than the rival, which is a ball for medium ball??

I think the Arch could be used on hvy oil. Its a very rolly ball like the Rival, so with the right surface on it I think it could work on hvy oil. I had a lot more oil the first night with it but it was a little duller oob. Im def going to keep it scuffed at 4k abralon, but might try 2k abralon. With the ball starting to shine up you could see it was getting quite a bit stronger in the backend.

The Resurgence would make a better heavy oiler, it's earlier and stronger then the Arch. You could still make the Arch Rival work on the heavy stuff, just don't be afraid to drill it stronger and use some surface.

yeah, coz I'm afraid that the Resurgence would only be used on flooded or heavy oil, other than that, it could just roll out... I think that the Arch Rival could still be used on medium oil??
