By the looks of your PAP you have a very low track. PIN under your middle finger is probably only 4 inches from your axis.

If you want some length with good backend, try to have your pro shop guy lay it out with at least a 4 1/2 or 5 inch pin to PAP distance and the cg @ 45 degrees. Include a small x-hole to make it legal past and below your PAP.

With your PAP the layout may look funky but keep in mind you track low. Like this....

xxxxxxxxx
xPxxxxxxx
xxxFxFxxx
xxxxxCxxx
xxxxxxxxO
xxxxTxxxx
xxxxxxxxx

i forgot to mention the specs on the Packed are..

15.03#
2 1/2oz TW
2.5-3inch PIN (it's 2.5 really)

thanks for the replys, and also Major Action what does it mean that i track very low, and why do people call me a "spinner"?

tracking is relitave to the oil track to your fingers/thumb, the closer it is to the fingers/thumb the higher your considered to track and vise versa, so your oil tracks are relitavly far from your fingers. and the spin thing can be 1 of 2 things or both. first is the way you throw it, if you stay in the ball to long, your fingers and thumb tend to come out at the same time, and that often causes you to come over the top of the ball hence spinning it. or your ball could go spining down the lane, like a top. or it could be a combo of both.

so if the ball goes spining down the lane like a "top" would you see the fingergrips (if you can see them) facing towards the ceiling? because if you would see that, i dont think i have it measured right..

Ok when I crank the ball my pap is close to what yours is. So I know of one layout that works awsome for me when I play the crank shot/spin the ball. The pin is slightly over the middle finger about inch above the bridge and the cg is slightly right of the center of my palm. Looks smothing like this.

---p---
--O-O--
----cg-
---O---

This gives me great length and a big amount of backend.
