I want to get it drilled really strong and was wondering what would be the best way to drill it strong?

I just got a barely used one the the pin is directly above the ring finger and the cg is right below the ring finger but kicked out no more than 2 inches and it has an extra hole.

crusher,
i had big time problems with mine rolling too early. i would recommend a pin up cg in palm drilling. mine was pin down cg at 45*. it just rolled at the arrows and hit like 20 pounds of feathers. sold it to a guy who plugged and drilled it pin up and bingo rolled beautiful. should have done that myself.

LOL, the mb is sort of out of line on the widow huh?

Its hard to guess a layout without knowing your specs such as PAP, speed, rev rate, etc...

if you drill exactly loke the widow it will behave alot diffently than the widow. it will roll earlier and be a little tamer in the back but move more overall. a good choice me thinks

Not sure about my PAP. I have medium to high rev rates, and I throw the ball about 15-17mph.

is there any way that you can throw this ball now? if you can you might be able to get an idea of what it does. you may like it and just have to move the thumb and change the grips.

I still haven't gotten it yet. These are just the photos of the ball that the guy sent me before we made the trade. I will try to throw it but it might be a problem cause my fingers are really small. I will try to throw it though to see how it works. I should get the ball Wednesday.

I recomend that you keep the drilling that is on the ball and just move the thumb to fit your span. I say this because the Action has a reputation to roll early and be strong as it is. I think by placing an expremly agressive drill on it would basically defeat the purpose of the ball making it way to agressive for a normal house shot. The pin up will profice some length and the CG bumped out closer to the PAP would get the ball into a quicker roll. Stick with this drilling, and just alter the coversock.

I would recommend on finding out what your pap is then let's talk. Pending on what your pap is this drill could do a few different things. Pap is soooo important when getting a ball punched.
