jazz vs scout

which ball would you guys use for a dry shot??
i meen im standing on 35 throwing to the 5 and my dead flush is going through the nose even when i try to put no revs on it.
so i need a weak ball atleast 5boards weaker then my dead flush
would you guys recomend a jazz or just go with the scout?

Instead of a new ball,try learning to roll a ball from up the back.I use to bowl on old wood lanes with a short oil pattern.It was 31 ft. with CLEAN backends.The only way I could score was rolling the Black Hammer up the back.Averaged 218 in summer an 225 in winter.I almost never payed for bowling because of the money I would win in side pots an brackets.I had my wife an daughter on my team,so IT could have been costly

Scout, best Columbia ball for when they are really dry, and drill it weak

but why are you not moving farther left and keeping your line tighter through the oil

The Jazz is a good ball for dry lanes but it will flare. So the Scout might be a better choice.

I agree with a couple of other comment though. dont send the ball to the dry so much. keep it in the oil longer

they are both fairly aggressive on light oil and maybe light/medium. u will need the urethane scout..

its cause for some reason they dont like to oil the inside of the lanes for the leftys
if i throw it to say 10-15 it wont even hit the head pin.
on another note
i also need a ball to fit between my dead flush and perfect rival
i was thinking either arch rival or power swing
dead flush is drilled 4 1/2 pin above finger
perfect rival 4 1/3 under fingers
