Life expectancy
« on: February 12, 2005, 08:33:47 AM »
I am considering getting a Shock, Formula, or Over Drive.   Do they all wear the same?  Is one more durable than the other?  I can't afford a new ball all every year, so I need one that is durable, not a 100 game ball.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Hm, I'm not sure about the above, but if you get any Columbia ball with a Superflex coverstock, it will definitely hold up for a LONG time. I've had over 300 games on my Detour and it still snaps great!

You more or less want to stay away from anything particle. Super-Flex has to be one of the most durable, long lasting resins ever made. I have a Solid Beast w/mica that has about 300 games on it and still works like a charm. Detour is a good choice.

I've got about 400 games on my Game Solid that I bought in 2001, and it still works great TEC death seems to have passed me by.
