Looking For a replacement for Classic Cuda/C

I threw my Cuda/C ceramic core for years as my controll, go to ball.  Last weekend I threw it and when it came back there was a crack that went almost the circumference of the ball.  As you can tell I was devastated.  I want a ball that would have similar characteristics and have been out of the game for a few years.  What balls out there, that may be available used or new, may be similar or would be recommended by you all.  I wish I could find the same ball in 15lbs, but I know that ain't happening.

Was it the pearl or solid?
 
I'd try a Freeze on the same layout as the Cuda and adjust the surface as needed to get a similar look as the Cuda.

I think the Freeze would be your best starting point. Stay with the same drill pattern and if it is a little longer then you want just knock the shine off a bit and should work great.

These balls pop up on eBay frequently.  And where are you in California?  My pro shop (in San Leandro, near Oakland) has a heavy 15 lb (single drill, plugged) for sale.

Thought I'd show the ball in the aftermath. but the photos are too  big.  sorry.  It is red actually has a pink pin.  And to answer, I am in  Pasadena, CA, near LA

Was the sanctioning body still ABC back then?  Notice on the ball there is a USBC stamped on the bottom of the Columbia 300 logo?  Wonder if Columbia did a limited run in 2006 as the serial number does start with a 6.  Interesting.

That is 100% not an original. It will have a stronger cover then the one from 96.

You know, you are getting older and sooner or later you will need a 14 pound ball, so lucky for you, there just happens to be a 14.3 Cuda/C Pearl on Ebay right now NIB!
