Messenger Ti Traction

I know it isn't the newest ball out there, but does anyone know if this ball is suitable for a pin-axis layout (OOB surface). I'm missing a ball in my arsenal that goes long and can be used on fried conditions. Or is a Rico-layout more suitable for such conditions.

Do you know that this is a dull, particle ball meant for oil?

While it is not the most aggressive of balls, it will certianly handle medium + to medium-heavy oil.

While you can certainly put a Rico or a pin on axis drilling on any ball, I'd suggest you either have a good deal of oil or you polish it first before putting such early rolling drillings of this type of ball.

If you have a high ratio of ball speed to rev rate, you can also more easily use such a drilling on this type of ball.

Trying to use this Messenger Ti Traction for a go long ball on fried conditions is like pounding a square peg into a round hole.

Get a Scout or something similar because even the Freeze has too strong of a reactive cover to use on fried conditions.

Messenger is my first ball out of bag. And my first ball at all.
Smooth rolling ball for two years already. Great ball.
I can use this ball on most conditions, except dry.

Messenger isn''t particle. It is solid reactive.

It would be great to get NIB Messenger...

My Messenger Traction isn't NIB.
I used to play on medium-heavy oil (3 3/4 x 3 3/4). But since I bought myself a RotoGrip Cell the Traction lays at home in a corner. I'm speed dominant and don't have a lot of revs. My axis tilt is between about 25 degrees.

Better polish it a little bit on high grit, and i think, that you will have good ball under cell and can use on lighter conditions.

If that's the case, I'd first suggest doing an oil extraction.

If you want to do one of those drills, your being  speed dominant, just be ready for early roll, and if it's too early, either sand it very fine, like P2000 or P4000 grit or add some polish to it to get the roll and breakpoint you want.

why would you put a pin axis or RICO layout on a bal you want to go long on fried lanes?

Charlest assessment of the Traction is probably correct as I believe this ball had a light particle load without stating it was particle.

doesn't matter what the ball is. if he's looking to drill a ball w/pin on axis
or a rico layout, that is certainly not what your looking for with friction in
the front part of the lane. those layouts would be more suited for fresh conditions up front with clean backends.(i don't post to often but i'd thought
this would help)
