I believe c300 has the absolute best line up right now of all the brands. The pure swing is the best ball i've thrown in years, and can always step down to a bedlam and a sharp noize. The full swing rolls so heavy it is a moster and very very driller friendly (i've punched 3 with 3 different layouts). The Total bedlam is an absolute hook monster, and the freeze is the most selling ball by far in the shop. The hook and performance for the value is second to none on the market today. Even the older pieces (for me the noize line) are great products at a great value. Can't say which has impressed me the most because they are all very, very, very good.

i have a rival, noize, freeze, bedlam, and have demoed the pure swing and total bedlam and love all of them.

the freeze has impressed me the most. it is smooth and weaker but can still be used on lighter medium patterns where my dead flush was too strong and my jazz was too weak. i am already planning on getting another one.

the rival and noize are just great bowling balls. and compliment each other well.

the bedlam is great for when i need to move in and clear the heads and still need a strong angular move down lane late in a block.

i am planning on getting a pure swing over the summer because i like that i can play in with it on longer patterns. it can get length when it needs to but it can still get traction if there is oil. seems smooth and controllable

I punched up a Momentum Swing about two months ago, and a Loud Noize about a week ago. The Momentum is the one im still on the fence about, it reacts almost like a pearl even though its a solid cover. I drilled it 5 X 3, with no weight hole, this is one of my favorite drillings. I have the surface at 2000 abralon with not polish, and it still gets good length with a very controlled  motion on the back. It is one of those balls that for me is too strong when playing tighter, but doesnt quite have the motor to finish on the back.

As for the Loud Noize, i cant get this ball out of my hands. Im very impressed with the motion i get out of this ball, especially when you consider the price point. When the lanes have opened up and you need that ball to get in and wheel the lane with this is your piece. Gets nice length with a strong backened motion. Only dislike is it doesnt like carrydown, but what skid snap piece does really? I went 4 X 4 with this ball, and a low hole on my val.

I have tried just about every manufacturer over the past year and a half, and here are some, not all, of the balls I have used.

Track Rising SE(Good), Storm Virtual Energy(Bad), Ebonite Complete NV(Good), Columbia Arch Rival(Good), Brunswick Power Groove(OK), Roto Grip Mars(Good), Hammer Raw Anger(OK)

However, over the past two months I have purchased two of the best overall balls I have ever owned.
Columbia 300 Total Bedlam (Great)
Columbia 300 Freeze (Great)

The "Total Bedlam" should be renamed "Bad Intentions" based on its ball characteristics. This is be the most heavy rolling, big hooking, hardest hitting ball I have personally ever thrown. What a great design Columbia manufactured for this piece. The ball hooks alot, stores up a ton of energy, and hits like a bulldozer. I am amazed at the performance of this ball especially at it''s medium price point.

The "Freeze" is the most value per dollar of any ball on the market. The ball rolls extremely well, and has so much more down lane reaction than all the balls sold at similar price points. The ball allows me to attack the lanes in various ways also. Something generally not associated with lower priced equipment.

I have no ties to any specific ball manufacturer like some people that get on and tote about the "best ball on the market" phenomenon. Nevertheless, what I will say is that Columbia, over the past two years, has developed some very good technology that makes the game more enjoyable for average bowlers like me. Good job Columbia 300.

Columbia 300 really impressed me with the Total Bedlam.  That thing is the king of beasts.  I''m attempting to stockpile them (along with the Mission) as I type this.

I have not thrown anything new on the Columbia line but by what I see the Pure Swing would be great ball. If I can get one to try out I would and the beldem since I'm going with something new. I am getting rid of all my Storm/Roto Grip stuff and looking to throw a new company and was thinking Columbia but with not throwing anything in the research I just don't know about them..I'm right now looking at a Bounty Hunter to start unless something else Columbia or any other company comes out with that I think will be good for my game.

i knows probably not happening but would LOVE a solid.... low rg, low diff. Probably in the freeze price point. I guess even a pearl shell would be fine, something like the sharp noize cover. just lookin for a drier lane ball, something straighter than the freeze.

in the past i used several c300 balls (vector II, rock, pro hook, pro hook extreme, and a green messenger that i still have but dont use)

with the purchase of the freeze mid season i found a reaction i haven''t seen in a while.

tempted to buy another freze to have on hand incase of need. I will say this .. If/when i get to buy another ball it will prob. be to replace either my VG (just a bit stronger than my VE) or TFD (with 600 grit fits under my freeze).

the 2 ball in my arsenal that see the most lane time is the freeze and a VE.

Thinking back to the last few purchases no shop recommended C300 balls and i think i missed some great balls.

I have been away from Columbia for quite a few years, can you say Bleeder-Yellow dot.  Anyway, this year jumped in both feet with purchases of the Bedlam and Freeze.   The Freeze is a great ball, stronger than advertised but controllable.   The Bedlam, I am sorry to say has been a bit of a disappointment.  Ball was advertised to turn corners from anywhere. I had the ball drilled pin right of ring, cg kicked out.  I took the surface down and added a weight hole, with all those changes ball ball is functional but not as advertised.  Truth be told, I find my Freeze to be stronger.  Best buy, price makes it even more desirable.  Freeze = can't miss purchase.

My driller happens to be on C300 staff, Jason Wunderlich.  He recommended i give one of the swings a try.  The Pure Swing on the way.  He also recommended a Sharp Noize and Freeze.  I have no complaints with either.  The Sharp Noize kicks left off the dry and keeps on coming.  The Freeze is a very good ball at a good price.  I also have a Cool Noize, and have no complaints with that either.  C300 has really impressed me with their new stuff.  Keep up the great work.
