OOB finish-Action Attack
« on: August 17, 2007, 07:09:16 AM »
I've got a friend who just picked up one of these and he's already asked me about keeping the factory finish on it knowing I have a spinner.  Problems is, what the heck is the finish, LOL.  According to the specs, it's a 'Tech-3000 coverstock' with 3000 Grit Compound as the finish, hmmm?

Anyway, has anyone dealt with this finish and how would I go about duplicating it, I think the same finish was on the Track Power Machine but I haven't researched it yet and haven't found anything on the respective manufacturers sites as a clue.

Thoughts anyone?

I have found that by using abralon pad exclusively I was able to create similar reaction. Take it down to 1000, then bring it back up to 4000 high speed and for about 1 full minute every time you turn the ball. also have the water turned on kind of high. When finished use a really soft cloth for drying and buffing.

Hope this helped

Much appreciated justdale, I do have the Abralon pads as I use them on a couple of other balls so that should work out fine,  Thanks again.
