Whats the best ball cleaner to use on this ball?

By the way out of the box a i shot a 233,213,259.Very nice ball

Use any of the ball cleaners on the market, but something as easy as " Simple Green" works also

Ok then explain why its illegal ?

Give a player an unfair advantage ?

Your implying that Acetone is the steroids of bowling >??

If you see a proshop using it, do you go "snitch" on them ?

You Acetone haters are a trip


Bottem-line is its a outdated and rule that can not be enforced, case-closed.

It doesn't matter if it is out-dated and can't be enforced.  It's still in the rulebook.  It doesn't matter if it gives you an advantage or not.  Going an inch over the foul line doesn't give you an advantage, but it's still against the rules, for example.  RULES ARE RULES.

Why hasnt USBC sent a letter to every proshop and inform then not to use Acetone bowling balls since 99% of them use it ?

The rule will bechanged and adapted to todays game sooner or later.

How many 300s or 800s have be shot because of Acetone ?...Nil discussion IMO.

Acetone is just another solvent/cleaner that works very well.

Also, if USBC can enforce the rule, then why is it a rule ?

As soon as the USBC takes it out of the rulebook, you can clean your ball with acetone.  Until then, it is per the rulebook illegal.  There is no gray area here.  It doesn't matter if YOU think it's outdated.  It's still in the current rulebook.

It doesnt matter what has been donw with acetone. It softens what it is used on, and the use of it on a ball can cause the sofntness of the ball to fall under the hardness limits. This will in return add to the ball being able to hook more on the lane. This is why acetone is illegal.

did you know that there is a tropical fish med that's cut using acetone?the stuffs not water soluble so they cut it with acetone.

go ahead and clean your stuff with acetone,I won't tell.personally I use simple green.

I remember that hook-it stuff melting my rubber gloves everytime I used it and that stuff was ABC approved.
