Rock On Limited Edition & Green Rock On?
« on: July 13, 2003, 10:15:01 PM »
Ok, my first question is did ANYONE.....buy the Limited Edition Rock On?  I heard it was the Sport ball cover and the Rock on Core with factory polish so it sounds rather good.  I haven't found any quality reviews on it and I am just wondering what the ball is like.  I was just talking to someone and they said they had a Green Rock on.  I've never heard of this personally.  Is this an overseas release or something?

The limited edition is *supposed* to be THE Rock ON but with the cover a different color, burgundy, and slight polish insted of the dull blue original one.

I, too, also heard that the L.E. was just the blue one, just a different color.  I have never heard of a green one either.  One thing you can do, is go to www.bowlingballreviews.com.  There is a link on the left side of the screen for overseas balls.  They have every manufacturer plus some you may have never heard of.

I just went onto the bowlingballreviews.com website, and the closest ball I could find was the Power Rock, which was teal.  Sorry....no green Rock On.

Sorry about the confusion on the Green Rock on.  I just got confirmation that it is actually a "Rock Air" and it is a light green/Blue swirl

I know for a fact that the Rock Air is an overseas release.  Go to bowlingballreviews.com and you will find it in the overseas link on the left side of the screen.
