I think those videos are worthless without some general info of the girl bowling and also why not show the actual layout on the test balls being thrown.. I mean its obvious she throws the ball very well but some more info on her game would be helpful..

To me, it looks like she is playing the same spot on the lane with the Burst that she is with the Total Bedlam and the ball motion looks very similar as well and that makes no sense to me.. The Total Bedlam should be a much stronger ball from all the info I have read..

I know you can''''t show everyhting in a 2 minute video but I think there needs to as much info as can be shown in that time..

Pretty much the worst videos coming from Hopkinsville.  I hate to bash, b/c I love the equipment....but, those vids just aren't very informative.  We didn't get ANY bowler specs, lane conditions, layouts, etc.  I can't understand how ebonite, track and hammer produce great vids, but columbia gives us the generic..."hey, this ball hooks" video.  I guess I'll just drill one and make my own video.

For them to say the pure physics is the strongest ball on the market is a joke.

Maybe she was throwing it on a U.S. Open pattern.

If Chris Barnes was on my staff, he'd be throwing every ball I made on the marketing videos.

Considering they paid him a million dollars, I would too.

I think if she played the same area with the PP as she did with the Full and Complete it would shown the true potential of the ball. To me she is super smooth with her release but doesnt grab it much at the bottom. For sure C300 could have done a better job with the vids but by looking at the bowlers style I'm pretty sure I can get much more out of the ball than she did. I was hoping the PP would be a much stronger ball than the Pure Swing but it doesnt look to be.

You do realize that the bowler in the vids is Leanne Barrett, one of the best women bowlers ever. Her nickname was "Boomer" due to her rev rate. Her lines in the vids seem to be aimed at showing ball motion geared toward league bowlers. I'm sure she could still "send it and bend it" if she wanted too. I agree that vids don't offer much in general but should be showing drill specs., lane condition and the like at a minimum.

For me, it has NOTHING to do with WHO is throwing the ball.  It is the lack of technical info the public desires.  No lane conditions, no bowler specs, no layout info....the people want that information even if they can't really understand or apply it to their own games.

I agree 110%.. I don't care who is throwing the ball.. Give us some more information on her, the layout of the ball, the lane conditions.. Seriously what good is that video showing her playing the same line for every ball..

You do realize that's not leanne right?  That's jen murphy, this was discussed in the burst vid thread if I remember right.

Very similar look and her mannerism are dead on. Thought it was strange as Barrett use to throw Ebonite although Columbia is under the umbrella. Also stated that I agree with what the vids are lacking.

Good bowler but doesn't do anything for the ball. I can make my original bedlam do/and look the same as she did the "complete." Video sucks.

She does still bend it. Go to ustream and look for her in matchplay in the Women's U.S. Open.  Similar styles..well maybe a little.  They both have the same hair color.

Is it true that Columbia is still without a brand manager? and is this something they would of had control over?

the only thing that I really had a problem with was that they say the pure physics is the most hooking ball on the market, and then they show you a video of the ball going dead straight for 50 feet and then hooking four boards into the pocket. Their words did not match their video, bad marketing.
