Throttle and Throttle R on Ebay!!

Just wanted to post this for all you Columbia 300 fans. This ball is not due out for another 2 months but someone has both of them NIB on Ebay for $160 each + shipping.

If I were columbia I'd buy the balls, check the s/n #'s on them & quickly cut them off the staff, or distribution list for seed balls. There's no reason for this to happen.

These balls are actually due out mid July sometime. Seed balls often get sent out to distributors early also. They have been known to sell them to shops early. Columbia also has a pro shop program like may other companies. For example, the Pro Shop pays so much for the program and they get balls before they are released. My shop is a member of this program and I've already received my two balls and drilled them up today. I can't believe how much more the Throttle hooks than the Icon 300.

They come out July 25th, some "special" people get the ball early..

However, I'm sure that there are agreements made to make sure these seed balls are explicitly NOT for resale.

Again, I personally thing that it shows very little business ethic & hope it's either a hoax auction, or Columbia finds out who it is.

I was watching these two Throttles on eBay and now they are no longer available...strange.  Wonder if Columbia found out and had the user suspended...any ideas?
