which one should....

I am looking for a heavy oil ball... which one should I get?? resurgence?? noize?? arch rival?? or momentum swing??  I currently have the rival and momentum..which one should i get? tnx!

Can't go wrong with the Resurgence.  I had the oppurtunity to roll the Swing and Arch Rival during the Chris Barnes challenge.  The Arch has a very big backend for THS, bigger than the Swing.  Still I would go for a Resurgence...

If its a "true" heavy oil ball you need, the Resurgence is the correct choice.

The resurgence is just sick on oil, definitely the best choice in the C300 lineup for heavy oil.

Hard to say but the Resurgence is stronger than the Rival, until the arch and swing come out its hard to say how that will look but I would definitely believe that the resurgence is the strongest.

But would the resurgence be only pure roll reaction type?? without the hard arc or snap in the backend??

at 4000 looks pretty strong
at 1000 will be a beast on heavy

I was under the impression that the Noize was going to be a very good heavy oil piece.

The following is from Buddies Pro Shop:

if I have a ball which comes poished, just like the momentum, would it be recommended to change the surface of the ball?? would it just kill the purpose of the ball?

I have always believed that it can kill the purpose of the ball.  Reason is that there is a reason they come like that from the manufacturer.  I can understand if you dont have the funds to get all the balls needed to tackle the lane conditions you encounter and need a tweak.  But, if you are in the market for something to hook in oil, why go with a ball that is designed for length and backend and comes polished?  I am a big advocate of getting ball for what it is designed to do.

No, i mean I am currently looking for a heavy oil right? I am just wondering "what if" I tweak its cover... But getting the Momentum, I am not planning in using it on heavy oil... Just curious, you know..
