I had this ball drilled at nationals by Kyle in the ebonite,Columbia, and track booth.  I wanted a ball that was stronger than the Time zone I was throwing. Kept the ball at the oob surface and had a Phenominal look playing straight up 8.

I remember you are left handed..I hope to play there up next month with my total bedlam and if they break down a little my 715T.

You should have a decent look.  In team I had to slow down a bit but in doubles and singles I could throw it a lil bit harder which was my comfort zone

I talk with my friend who bowled last weekend at the nats and she said that once the ball came out of the pattern it took off.  She's a bit softer speed than I am and left handed as well.   She played between 5 and 10 and outside of that hang and inside of that hook.  Did you experience the same?

For me, if I got it outside of 5 it was gone.  I had about a two board window inside so I could hit 10 (was playing 8) and the ball would hold. If I hit 11 I was going high and leaving 6 pins the two balls I got inside of 11 went through the nose.

Sounds like you playing the lanes pretty straight.  That's good to know.  Thanks.

I played them fairly straight. Which for me is something I've been working on pretty hard this year.  I really like to get in and hammer on the ball but I always seem to struggle when I have to straighten out so it was nice to see my practice and hard work show some positive results in reno

That's good you were able to go from bellying the ball to playing straight.  That should carry you to other venues where you will have to play them tighter until they open up.

Im hoping that will be a sign of good things  to come when i bowl some upcoming regionals....  Playing straighter should give me a different perspective on playing the lanes hopefully leading to higher scores

Brian,

Did you get a chance to watch Matt Mcniel bowl D/S on ustream?  I am curious if you had the same look when you bowled D/S.  I am contemplating moving my 715T to 1k for team and then moving it back to 2k in D/S.

Oh, and I was wondering what motion your world beater has.  I have a Total Bedlam that clears the heads nicely and arcs smooth but strong on the backend.  It took a bit of experimenting on the cover to get that motion and it's different than the 715T.

I did not get a chance to watch u stream .   The ball motion I got with my world beater was clean through the heads with a very hard read at about 43 feet at the 7-8 board with continuation through the pins.   Reminded me of the ball motion I had with a blackwidow sting I had a couple years ago.....    When they started to dry out I never saw the heads dry out. For me they started to dry out down lane.  The ball would get to the breakpoint and just check up and go high.  At first I though I was just slowing the ball down but after 6 frames I moved 2 right with my feet and I was fine .  My advice is to keep the ball on line try not to come around the side of the ball alot. Try to be more up the back and I think you'll be fine.   The shot is playable

Thanks, that's good to know.  I have been working on more forward roll the last month anticipating I would need to do that in Reno because of the backends.  I can't get end over end because I release the ball inside out but I can see less tilt and I hope to control the backend that way.  From the looks of things,  I might need only three balls...very strong, strong, and med and ball down when necessary.  What do  you think of that strategy?

You sound a lot Like me. I cant throw end over end either . Me going up the back is still more tilt than most guys in my area.   I like your strategy on shelling down when needed.  I know for me I took a strong, and medium and a spare and ended up drilling stronger   I never used my medium ball untill I shot the 40 frame game
