Address book
« on: May 20, 2004, 06:25:55 PM »
It would be nice if the address book was set up in such a way that you could check off people's names and send all your buds a message instead of having to type in all the names.  If it actually does work that way somehow, somebody please tip me off as to how it works, because I'm not seeing it.

There's only been once that I sent the same message to multiple users, but regular email address books have that feature, and it would be nice if this one did.  Of course, I have no idea how complicated it might be to install that feature.

You can do it now.  I'm not sure how good this explanation will be, but give it a shot.  Click the "messages" link on the left side of the screem, then click the "compose" button.  Beside the line where you add names, click on the "To" hyperlink.  Towards the bottom of the screen is a place to add users.  It's not exactly like an address book, but you can at least add people who you message regularly.

Well, duh...

Following the instructions given here, I now see that it says how to do that right on the "compose" page.  I guess I should look around a bit more before asking questions.

Thanks guys.
