Posters with no profiles.
« on: November 19, 2003, 05:48:19 PM »
I realize we have a lot of duplicate members. Besides that though, there are  a lot of people who post what seem to be serious thoughts, but they neglect to enter a profile. If you're one of those, I feel like you need to enter a profile of some substance so that others might take you more seriously. If you don't have a profile you shouldn't expect to be taken too seriously.

You're reading more into this than I intended. I'm referring to posts of a serious nature like accusations of dishonesty for instance. Also, there are non-bowling related threads from time to time of a more serious nature. I've only been here a couple of years, but to me this is a complex community. We communicate on many levels, and on many of these levels it's desirable to know something about who it is you're communicating with. This is not to say anything about a person's worthiness, it can sometimes just give you some sort of baseline for trust in a way. Just a thought, everyone has a right to their own opinion.

I think everyone should have a profile of some kind. It only takes a minute to do and it tells people a little bit about you. Now everybody shut up and fill out a profile
