Only you as the OP or a moderator and I don't know who the mods are.

That's what I thought and I sure didn't lock it. I thought it was a good question and there were no 'rude or bad' comments, that I could see. Have to hope I get some sort of answer.

My guess is they viewed it as an attack on a moderator.  Sort of like saying they don't know what racism is so they don't know how to do their jobs.

Just a guess

I did not see anything that could be considered offensive, at least by me.  Everyone has different sensitivity ratings however.  When I read it, it had already been locked, so I don''t know if there was a post that had been deleted previously from it.

Moderators on the site are not suppose to identify themselves as moderators so I dont think you are going to get an answer.  Based just on the topic it sounds like it may have been locked for something that seemed racist or maybe seemed like an attack.  We try to keep the site Family friendly.  If you notice anyone else posting replies that break the rules contact me and I can look into it.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Looking at the replies this wasn't the case. I don't see where any reply violated BR's posting rules.

Can't it be unlocked?

I'm not asking for a user name, if a mod did it, so be it, so state and why ? That's what I'm asking for, the reason. I don't think anyone , if they read the posts, will find an attack, any 'bad' words. But the past month there's been personal attacks on individuals in several posts. Do we go run and tall ? Not really, it's more the way of the world. You post something, you take the good with the bad.

If, by posting a topic that may have been "seemed racist", then this has become another USBC, post only what "they like" and others will be locked or deleted. I would not be upset if someone had used bad language, someone call another a name not allowed but this was not the case.

All I'm asking for is an explanation.  One can't "play by the rules" if the rules change or it's up to the "opinion" of one person. All I'd like is an explanation.

I do not have a way to unlock a topic once it has been locked.  I apologize for the inconvenience.
As the original statement said in the topic "any statement of any race could be considered, racial" so what is not racial to you may be that way to someone else.  Its hard to have a topic like that and not offend someone.  Please PM me if you have any other questions or if you notice any posts that are breaking the rules.

Thanks
