I have a Break Pearl. Looking for the best way to resurface this ball. looked on the web site could not find any info. All I want to do is return it to box finish. After a good sanding. need to know what grits they use.  Example 500 then polish or 500 ,1000 then polish .  Any Pro shop owner that can help it would be greatly appreciated.

  when you go to their site, look up tech info.. it will be there in the surface tech section.. you could also do this(how I have done mine).. doing the 4 sided method at 35-40 seconds a side.. using abralon pads I go 320, 500, 2000.. then lightly wetting a rag and using a brown compound(step 2 storm,3m brn compound or tracks 800/1200 brn compound maybe even rough buff) place drops about the size of a quarter and gently press onto the ball(maybe 25 seconds or till you see the compound become a tad dry).. lightly wet the rag for each new side.. do not press super hard or you will burn the compound into the ball and that would be bad(making the ball too straight).. good luck..

This is a great ball and worth keeping in good shape. OOB for the Break Pearl is 4000 abralon. So, if you go 360, 500, then 4000,and some polish (Track Magic Shine or Valentino's Snake Oil) that should get it near to OOB. The key is to create the nicks and grooves into the cover with the 360 & 500, then smoothing them out with the 4000. If you step it up with the 1000 and 2000 to the 4000, you will smooth out the grooves and nicks a little too much. The end result is you may not get the same performance as you would like to and the ball will seem a little mellower. Hope this helps.

I refinish mine (by hand) with Valentino's Resurrection followed by Snake Oil.
