You've got those two right.  The grit level of Liquid Sandpaper has been discussed occasionally here on the board, with 600 grit being the most commonly espoused view.  Some say 1000.  I've also heard it said that you get around 600 on a spinner and closer to 1000 by hand.  I use Liquid Sandpaper from time to time and it seems to me to fall somewhere between those two, so I'm going to say about 800.

I put a post up here a while back asking about the Track product Clean 'N' Smooth, and have been informed that it gives a 1500 grit dull finish.  I haven't used it yet myself, but I do use the Storm Step Two polish and it gives a 1500 grit somewhat shiny finish.  I don't really know which other products that give a specific grit level of finish would be said to produce a dull finish rather than a shiny finish.  Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject will have something to say about it.  I'm always interested in gathering opinions on this subject, so I'll be watching this space as well!
