Cost of mine was about £7 ($10). Everything else I either had or got for free.
A lot of thought went into it but I feel I have had 3 to 4 years of great use out of it up to now.
Dont just fly in and start without fully thinking it all through, that would be my only advice.
Great project for anyone who can do DIY.A tumble dryer motor worked best for me with its salvaged electrical on/off switch.
Only drawback is that its not transportable. Think of that if you travel to bowl in competitions.
