Polish and Particle Pearls
« on: October 06, 2004, 05:39:58 PM »
All of my particle pearl balls that I own (core power hrg, eraser pp and the trauma recovery) and have polished seem to go very very straight! But the second I dull them they come to life and I love them. Has anyone ever seen that with particle pearls before or am I just insane? Will sanding them to like 400 grit and then polishing help or not?

Yes because of the grit.....it gives that extra grip on the lane while the polish will make it go longer.....I have done this to my Track heat 2 and have gotten different results......where is your mark and what type of angle do you use to get to he pocket???

Really I can play anywhere, but the shot at my house for the moment is at about 13 out to about 4 or 5 at the breakpoint.

What I would recommend is taking your core power and leaving it dull at about 600 so that way you have a something that will turn if you need it to....then take your trauma recovery and sand it to like 320 and polish it lightly......and take your Eraser and just sand it to about 1000 and leave it dull......play the same shot you always play and look at the differences.....I think you would probably be real happy with this.....but course I have never seen you throw the ball so really don't know for sure......
