Sanding with abralon?

When using abralon pads should I use my spinner or sand by hand?I have sanded both ways and the ball is duller without using the spinner but the surface seems to change aftr only a few games.So which is the proper way to use abralon.

Sand it by hand with water. The pads will last alot longer and it wont give you the lines on the ball the spinner gives you. Doing it by hand gets you closer to box finish than the spinner can.

You'll find two opinions on this. I always use a spinner and I ALWAYS use water. The only time I didn't was at Nationals when I couldn't take my spinner with me, (Wouldn't if I could. ) and I needed to adjust the surface.

Abralon pads and Scotch-Brite nylon pads are the easiest ways to adjust bowling ball covers be hand, if needs be.

I also prefer using the spinner and usually with lots of water.

the more water used during the sanding process the better the end result will be.
