What polish to kill backend?
« on: May 03, 2003, 05:58:19 AM »

I am WAY too angular with backend and need something to tame a resin ball big time. Can anyome tell me what's the best polish to use for calming the back end (and adding some length as well)... thanks!!

Lol, Finesse-It, two heavy coats ought to do it.  You'll see your reflection in ANY ball by the time you're done, I guarantee it.

Yes--Control-It adds length and tames the backend; both of the things you're looking for.

I'll third Control-It for adding length and reducing backend.

Control-it helps control the backend but only slightly.

I agree with Hamster, every time I use finesse-it and finesse-it 2 the ball not only goes very long, but doesn't even think about hooking in the back end.

My Finesse-II is a marine variety; while it polishes very well to about a 3000 grit finish, I do no especially find that it limits the back end of a ball.

I do find that a large does of Black Magic severly limits the backend of a ball, almost too much, so I spply it very carefully.

YMMV
