180° and 315° Control Layouts
« on: January 22, 2004, 01:25:26 AM »
Hey everyone.  I read an article in BTM showing these two layouts and describing them as "control" type layouts for high rev players.

180° has pin below ring finger and cg in the track just left of middle finger

315° has pin below middle finger and cg level with ring finger at a 45° angle with a line from the PAP and pin.

As I like to try new things, I went out and bought a used ball to try one of these out.  I picked up a Vendetta Pearl (or at least 1/2 pearl & 1/2 solid version).  Anyway, has anyone used these layouts before?  Do I need to worry about flaring over the fingers, as I am a fairly high tracker (and have had this problem before with equipment having the pin under the ring finger).
Thanks for reading,
