2.5 pin vs 4.0 pin reaction
« on: January 05, 2008, 12:02:40 PM »
I have a Columbia AA with a 4" pin drilled stacked leverage. I let a good friend use it when I don't in the men's league. He loves the reaction on this ball. He bought one the only difference being that the pin distance is 2.5, he wants to duplicate the drilling not taking into account the Cg(dontmata). The pin will be at the same distance and location as mine. Can he expect the very same reaction that he was seeing on mine? Thanks in advance.

Provided the weight hole is in the same place, same depth, and same shape then yes..they should be very similar.

If the hole is not identical the balls will roll different.  Also make sure the rise on the layout is the same (pin distance above midline)
