changing layouts on my balls
« on: February 17, 2005, 12:03:32 AM »
Yesterday i was reading an article in the bowlers journal that was talking about why every young guy who jumps into the pba are the ones who try to put the most humanly possible revs on the ball (dj archer, chris johnson, girard, palerma, etc)when the best player in the world, the guy that has dominate every pattern in the pba (heavy oil, medium, light, easy condition, and now in the toughest condition in the world "the us open" he is dominating it too.
So i was thinking and i practice yesterday... i am cranker who throws 498 rpm and always has got to play the big hokk...and now i am wondering...why??? men its not that hard to hit your mark consintenly when u dont have to worry so much about ur release and let the ball and the layouts make the job done...so i am thinking to have an a,b,c,and d game...the numer one its gonna be in the track area with minimun rotation, the b its gonna be more like the third arrow lofting the ball a little bit cuping my wrist a little bit but very much the same of the a game,my c game its gonna be the one i have actually ...maximun hook and rotation(the big hook something like 20 to 7)and my d game its gonna be foward roll for the first arrow juat rolling it
so if i make this changes...should i change the way i drill my balls????
