Do you use the same layout on your Asym and Sym balls?
« on: July 20, 2022, 12:19:17 AM »
I've noticed the Youtube Staffer/reviewers, have different benchmark layouts for their symmetric and asymmetric balls.  In most instances, they drop the Pin to Pap by a quarter inch, to a half inch, (On Syms) and leave everything else the same.

Do you guys use the same layout on both types of ball, or do you make these micro adjustments as well?

In the past Mo typically did a similar adjustment, where his benchmark or sweet spot recommendations for most people had the Sym version with .25-.75" shorter pin to paps, and usually 5 degree smaller VALs.

It seems to be a common occurrence, but no one really ever talks about the how, or why.  Just curious to hear people's approach or experience.

Same pin to pap on both with the psa occasionally being different on one vs the other.
