811A SE drilling layout?
« on: January 04, 2012, 12:20:20 PM »
I currently have a 718A drilled with a dual thumb layout (I believe my  driller said it was a 60 x 30?)  Has a weight hole just to the right of  my thumb hole (RHB)
I Have an 811A on order & looking for any suggestions on a layout  for this ball.  I am looking for it to get into a roll a bit sooner than  the 718A when the 718 is going too long.  I love the way the 718A rolls  with the dual thumb layout but not sure if the two balls would be to  close in motion if I have the 811A drilled to the same layout.
 thanks for the input.
Thanks for any help.

The double thumb layout is the strongest available, that means it rolls very early.  You'll have to use surface adjustments to get the 811A to roll earlier.  --  JohnP
