Drilling Mutant for Med to Heavy Oil
« on: October 07, 2003, 03:17:46 AM »
Hi, time that I got a ball that will tackle oil. I have a Mutant coming probably in a 1-2 or 2-3 inch pin. Stats are 17 mph, 270 rpms, 75 degree rotation, PAP is about 4.5 inches. Conditions I am looking for this ball to cover would be Med to Hvy...Med to Long length oil with OB. I prefer to play down and in from 13 to 5 board. I tend to spin the ball to much and I am working on rolling it better or 45 degree rotation.

Looking at the Mutant drill sheet.....It looks like pin position #1 or 3 and MB #2 or the MB a little left of #2 on or right near the thumb would be the top picks. Thoughts? I have a trouble with balls going to long as most of my miss pocket shots are to the right of the head pin. I have yet to use a ball that has me missing more on the left side to date, not that I want that, but I feel I can change something be it position, or ball if I start to miss on the left side. I am also looking at a Raging Inferno so if you have thoughts on this, please do so. Thanks Gom
