flaring over finger

I drilled a ball for my friend the pin is basically in the middle of the bridge below the fingers he is clipping the finger the last few feet down the lane. where can i put an axis hole to fix this for him.

I would recommend going 2 1/2" down his VAL to push the bow tie up and away from his middle finger.

When determining balance hole size and location you have to be sure the static weights will end up legal.  So to be sure of any recommendation we would have to know what the existing static weights are.  --  JohnP

Usually the pin controls the flare and would need to be placed higher up. Of course, a re-drill would be necessary to do that.

A low hole, as ric stated might move the bow tie up a touch, but I don't think that's a guarantee to stop hitting the finger hole. Good luck. =:^D

bout 3/4 of an ounce thumb and side weight so should be able to about any size weight hole
