how does a thunderstuck solid compare to a spitfire
« on: December 12, 2006, 12:09:01 AM »
i have them both, and am about to drill them. here are the specs on both:

thunderstruck solid
3.38 oz topweight
3.5'' pin

spitfire
2.18oz topweight
2'' pin

my driller is pretty much set he is going to drill the spitfire pin under bridge , CG kicked out with an x-hole. he also thinks we should put the pin above the bridge on the thunderstuck solid. he says the thunderstuck will go longer than the spitfire. i have a hard time believing that, but who on here has seen both in action and can tell me what they think? how will they compare? which one will be earlier, more at the back? the only reason i ask this question is i have tended to get alot of conflicting answers about this.
