You mean a 315* layout with the pin lowered?  People have been bowling well with that for years.  Congrats on the tournament.

Same thing happened to my friend Daniel...

He laid a ball out like that and it worked well.

It's the first thing outta his bag most of the time.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you just made up an unnecessarily fancy name for a completely commonplace layout. But congrats to your friend.

If you cannot explain what the heck an "Inverted Modified RICO" is, then this post is USELESS.

If it is INVERTED and MODIFIED, it ISN'T RICO!  Having the pin in the grip center DOES NOT, IN ITSELF, MAKE THE DRILLING A RICO! It may well be a 315 degree drilling, but, if you knew what it was in the first place, you would have said so and not had to "invent" a name for it.

If you guys expect your "informative" posts to be relevant, at least explain what you're talking about so that the knowledgable guys on here will be able to translate it into useful information, PLEASE?  If charlest can't decipher it, it isn't worth the effort.

would this be "inverted"? I'm half tempted to put holes in it like this just to see what it does. It could either be the best thing since pizza, or be the worst since GWB.

What I was always taught was that the hole down at a 45 deg angle from the CG was to keep the bowtie high and off the fingers.  I think putting the hole up would make this ball a very nice and attactive boat anchor.  :-)

That would be "inverted", to my eyees.
Now how the "modified" part comes in, I have no clue.

I know that. I've drilled pin in palm stuff before. I was just asking if this is what they were referring to.

For the record...

Good luck not hitting holes with the hole up.  The bowtie will be next to the grip and will flare all over the fingers.

What the {expletive deleted} is an INVERTED MODIFIED Rico drilling?
