Surface dictates when and where the ball will slow down....or have the potential to change directions...

people place too much emphasis on drilling patterns for heavy oil balls instead of adjusting the surface of the ball. after all, the surface of the ball is what comes in contact with the lane oil and the lane itself.

I don't believe this ball is made for "heavy oil" even if you alter the surface of it unless you take it down to 320.

Use a pin-in ball, put a 4x3 drilling onto it with the pin under the fingers (will need a balance hole, place on PAP to get it legal) and you will probably have to add some surface for long/heavy oil.

Try this,
60* sum of the angles should work fine. 30 / 4 1/2" / 30 for medium to low track players.
35 / 4" / 25 for the higher track players. Use surface and big P3 or P4 holes.

PAP isn't everything...
Does your ball speed dominate your rev rate or is it the other way around? Does your rev rate and ball speed match?
How much axis tilt do you have? What about axis rotation?
