I don't know much about this.....but,

What can one expect in a ball reaction with the Mass Bias placed to the right of the thumb, close to the VAL? How much would it effect the reaction as compared to the pin placement?.......Maybe what type of a reaction would pin over ring finger, and mass bias kicked out to there produce? Thanks

PK,

Go to the RotoGrip website...go to pro shop tools and go to drilling instructions. They tell you in a really easy way what placement of each does.

First off, you said in your post "right of thumb, close to VAL", those are 2 totally different positions for mass bias. For a righty, just right of the thumb by an inch or so is the STRONG position, HARD arc or most angular backend, strong! Say a 4x3.5 or 4x4. As you move towards the VAL you'll start to get more midlane with a strong but smoother backend....say a 4x2 or so.
