Yes it will work. The only issue you may have is with the height of the column and the thickness of the jig. Depending on clearance, you might have to use a collet instead of a drill chuck.

Jayhawk has a mini-mill jig that works for drilling ovals. I have one on my bench press and it works fine. I think it is a little cheaper than buying the mill/drill and the mini mill jig holds the ball steadier than most plain jigs.

Jayhawk adds a spacer in between the base and the colum to get enough height for the bit mount into the speed chuck and clear the ball. This is with the Tri-Oval Jig.

I know this from experience I bought a Mill Drill separately and added the Tri-Oval Jig to it. Bought a JMD-18 from Jet but it ended up being a hybrid of the JMD-18 and the larger model. So I had to create a custom spacer for mine. It was quite a bit of work but have a great machine now. I can't thank Russ Wilson from Jayhawk enough for his help.

It is a jig with a "mill table" built in. If you want it with a press it is 1695.00. It will fit on most tabletop presses, but you need an absolute minimum of 14" from the tip of your drill bit to the press table(where you mount the jig to)for clearance.

okay thanks i understand now well then to me I would be better off buying the one from harbor freight. thats the whole deal for 899 two local pro shops have the same one I didnt know if they had someone make something for them or how they did it but if my ball holder will just bolt on to the mill table i should be good to go
