Ok thinking of going with a cell pearl for a new ball, have an rs-p now. In very basic terms  which gives a ball a more earlier read of the lane, a pin up or down. I know theres much more variables but just general thoughts on this please. Also what length pin if i wer to use either 1 or does it matter. If anyone has a cell pearl what are the preferred drillings to get an earlier read with good recovery? Just some general thoughts please getting this ball soon so kinda in a hurry

 All else being equal, pin down will read sooner.

In very basic terms....neither.

Assuming everything is equal, pin height will control how the ball responds to friction.


And yes...there are many more variables

its not pin up or down...its distance from pin to pap
