I was told to drill THE ONE with the pin right of ring finger and the cg in under the bridge in the palm of my hand. What is the benefit in having this type of drilling? And can I use it on other types of ball than just the ONE?

Without your bowler spec's it would be a guess, for me it would go long and then either backend hard or be DOA depending on the high MB placement. MB towards the thumb for me works well, toward's the VAL it is roll city.

Suggestions:
1. The MB is of real importance when drilling a ball like the One with a strong Mass Bias. The CG is unimportant here.

2. Pin and MB placement with respect to the drilled holes is irrelevant and VERY misleading. It is wrong to think in those terms and can make life very difficult for you and your driller. Ball reaction in drilling is determined SOLELY on the placement of the pin and MB with respect to the bowler's PAP and the height of the pin above the midline.
