Track Flare on Asymmetrics
« on: September 04, 2008, 09:39:53 AM »
Going by Mo's dual angle system,  a pin to PAP distance from 2.75"-6.25" is large flare.  In that range, closer to to 2.75" creates more side roll and closer to 6.25" creates more forward roll.  Could anyone simplify what this means?

What I mean to ask is, does more side roll create any more or less friction than more forward roll?  Does more side roll delay the breakpoint and more forward roll creates a sooner one just like actual axis of rotation?

More side roll doesnt create more friction it just means that the ball picks up sooner than a ball with more forward which will go longer before breaking.
