Tweaking pitches to get more sideroll
« on: February 26, 2007, 06:47:39 AM »
I currently have 3/8" lateral each direction and 1/8" forward and was wondering if tweaking the pitches one way or the other will give me a little more side roll.  I have a good amount of forward roll now, my pap is 5 1/4 x 1" up.  I'd like to get a little more side roll to create a little different angle to the pocket when playing deep on a house shot.  Right now, I don't have enough tilt to get the ball to turn the corner correctly.

Also, I'm having a lot of trouble hanging up on the upper left part of the hole and have to use a ton of bevel to clear.  I currently have 1/4 forward and 3/16" right pitch (right handed) and was wondering if and what direction I should try changing the pitch to help with this issue....

Thanks in advance for your help
