I understand what you mean however I don't know if I would call it consistency when I first started using the Dude it was a little bit to angular and after six games like you say it may just be a little too snappy for the condition so what I did was took off the Polish and sanded the cover to 4000 grit and now it is one of the most predictable balls and Rose controllable balls I have ever thrown if it is getting unpredictable for you try a surface change

Hey stated he has it at 2000. But personally I've never liked pin up layouts on my dv8 gear. All their coverstocks get through the heads easy enough. I'm a pin in the middle finger guy (or ring if you have a 4 1/2+ pap.

Oh didn't see that . I have two dv8 balls pin in ring and I agree with you there. My other two are pin up and they work great for me. I am rev dominant so I tend to require conservation of energy
