Pitbull vs Ca$h
« on: October 10, 2017, 10:33:21 AM »
Just received both balls and want to figure out how they compare to each other. I know they are both top line heavy oilers, how do they differ. Im planning on keeping one 2000 or so and polishing one. Only question is which one to polish and which one to keep dull.

Bro, your index finger is the middle finger, not the pointer finger bro.

Index comes from the Latin indicō, which means “to point out,” which is also where the term “pointer” comes into play.

wasn't trying to call out or insult. But I am glad we cleared the layout confusion. Pin the in track is a dead layout for high track players.

I understand pin in track is dead, thats why i put pin above/in middle finger. Unless there is another layout that would be better where I dont track over fingers on a high performance dull ball. Am I just beating a dead horse then?? I dont like reaction I get from 3 3/8 pin layouts.

All in good fun! I personally was finding comedy in the sidetrack the thread took about finger names haha, nothing personal.

So lets not get hung up on where the pin actually ends up as much as what the layouts actual numbers are. What angles and pin distances have and haven't worked in the past? It's really a guess and check game with layouts till you get those one or few layouts that always seem to give you the shape and traction you're wanting.

Whichever one you decide will be the polished/length/backend ball - give it that smaller VAL/longer pin drilling and opposite for the one you want to be the dull smooth ball.

from what i saw, the cash retained energy better and had more movement down lane. the PB was early and rolly.

interestinly enough the cash handled more oil.....so as to which to polish, idk

Im used to getting responses like that, just i guess some people get technical and for some of us, the technicality isn't that important. I know what drillings work for me and my original question in original post was the differences in the Cash and Pitbull #'s and covers and which would be better. Billdozer answered my question thanks.

Which is why I suggested the cash be polished all along as once again it's the most versatile of the two and the majority of dv8's pieces push further downlane normally.

Bill, your on point.

My suggestion:

Drill them both and throw them side by side OOB finish to compare. From the reactions you get, you can decide.
