A couple of questions for newguy...
« on: January 24, 2006, 06:53:51 PM »
You've said that the Vendetta core is one of your favorites, and you say that it seems to work well with any coverstock. My question is: How does it work with the Soaker coverstock?(I'm assuming you've already tried it out for yourself.) If it didn't work out, what didn't you like about it? And if it did work well, why not release it(to the public)?

Just a guess, but I remember reading a while back that Soaker was more complicated and difficult to manufacture correctly, and so it's reserved for the high-end balls.  The Vendetta line is a mid-priced line, so I don't think we'll see a Vendetta Soaker for a while.

I'd be willing to bet it's been done in the lab on test balls, though.

We could not hold the Vendetta price point with soaker, the cost of soaker is significantly higher but as the soaker fans know it's durability and performance is unsurpassed. If we used it on a Vendetta the price would go up and we would lose a portion of the arsenal that the Vendetta occupies. The versatility of the Vendetta core is mind boggling, thus it is in just about every cover we have except soaker (it does work very well in soaker but ....)

Phil, can you answer the question on the Zr40 post regarding the comparison between all 3 Elements?

Thanks

I kind of figured it was a price related thing, but I wanted to know. Thanks.

P.S. - I would buy a Soaker-covered Vendetta, though, and I'm sure a lot of others would, too.

Maybe a different line all together, say the Vendetta Pro line?

As usual answer the fun part and ignore the important part....Naming it is always fun..Paying for it not so fun. So I'll ask again at what price?

So could this come betwen the price point of the Vendetta line and the Max performance line?  Maybe, in internet pricing terms, around 115-120?

That's your job!

Put it between the Vendettas and Hi-end stuff....like someone else said...Vendetta Pro or Plus

OR........... VENDETTA S (for soaker) !!

Phil, how much stronger is the ATC than the most agressive resin (non soaker)you use, if all other parameters are equal? (in boards covered)
