A New Dyno-thane Ball Give-A-Way Contest

I can't make any promises, but if we can find an idea for a contest, maybe D/T will donate a ball to the cause.

So, with the grand prize being a new ball.... submit your ideas for a contest.

If it's good enough, we'll post it on the Dyno-thane website for all to participate in!

How about picking the top 8 bowlers who will qualify for exempt status at the upcoming tour trials...first entry to get them all right wins,...or first entry with the most right if all eight are not picked. PBA.com has a roster. jim.

I like that idea, you could do it fantasy-style where if you correctly pick a bowler that is in the top 8, you get a point, and if you correctly pick their spot, you get 2 points.  Tiebreakers (or bonus points) could include correctly picking the champion of the Tour Trials, what the cut will be, etc.  Depending on the number of entries, I could help with the organization and scoring and what not, but that would take me out of the running for the ball...oh well

Funny thing, I am planning on bowling the Texarkana regional at the end of June.  I have some things to do before I sign up, like getting rid of my 14's and getting back my 15's now that my wrist feels better.  I might have to put in an order for a few Au79's, Vendetta Particle Pearls, and Thing Returns.  I'm sure Señor Phil can find the humor in that.

Well, if there were no immediate time constraints to conduct the contest, you could have people submit their prediction on how many times D/T (or more correctly, bowlers using D/T equip) makes the championship round during the 2004-2005 PBA season. First submission of the correct answer could receive the ball. Of course, all entries would have to be submitted before the season begins.
