Help! Which D/T ball will suit me best.
« on: January 16, 2004, 01:48:30 AM »

I have decided to try a D/T ball for the first time,I am a stroker with slightly better than average revs about 18mph.I am looking for a ball
to play on Light Med to Heavy Med lanes,I am looking for a ball that
will give good length with an arcing back end (hockey stick style)
with good control.Any help/suggestions on drill layouts would be
appreciated.Thanks

Thing Returns is an easy recomendation.  Another option is the red Vendetta.  I found it to be pretty angular.  The coverstock is half pearl and half solid, so it'll make it's move slightly earlier than the Thing Returns, but it does flip strong.

Let us know what you go with!

Ratpack,

With your ball speed, I would be tempted to tell you to go with the Thing or even the Element.  (Bam wouldn't know what ball speed is if it hit him in the nads!)  For a medium heavy condition, Thing Returns and Red Vendetta are pearls and may go too long.  Thing comes shiny, and Element with a little shine would be nice to.

Hope this helps ya...
