How strong is the Vendetta Pearl?
« on: March 31, 2005, 07:26:46 PM »
When compared to the Thing Returns and Energy?

Is the backend reaction with the Vendetta Pearl comparable with the strong backend reaction's of the Thing Returns and the Energy?

Can the Vendetta Pearl handle a stronger backend shot than these other 2 balls (Thing Returns and Energy).... or would the Vendetta Pearl still be a little too strong on the backend for a stronger backend shot if the Energy and Thing Returns are already going high on the head pin?

Just wondering if I'm on a shot and I try my Energy, and if it's hooking up too much on the backend... would the Vendetta Pearl be weak enough to fill that slot (or would it not be enough seperation to have both)?

I have both the Vendetta Pearl (VP) and the Thing Returns (TR)... See my reviews of each... I think they would be very close if drilled identically... giving a slight nod in regards to length to the VP but in backend to the TR.

However, my short oil/dry trio is:

1. The Crisis Pearl (CP), pin up over ring finger, cg negative so the "mb" would be in my track (105 degree). My longest least jumpy ball.

2. The TR, pin up over ring finger, cg kicked out 45 degree so "mb" would be on VAL. As long as but way flippier than my CP.

3. The VP, pin on grip line under fingers, cg 0.5 inches positive and 0.5 inches below midplane. A foot earlier but hard arcing shape.

I am saving my NIB Energy for my move to Utah in May... So I am afraid I can't compare it to the TR or VP. Sorry.
