New Dynothane...........
« on: January 02, 2007, 12:07:44 PM »
Dyno-Thane is proud to announce the latest introduction to our product line.

The Dyno-Thane Threshold NGSâ„¢

THE NEXT GENERATION SOAKER HAS ARRIVED.  Dyno-thane has taken the most versatile asymmetric core design on the market to the next level of performance by encasing it with our newest coverstock formulation.  It’s a hybrid reactive cover with our patented Soakerâ„¢ additive called NexGen Soakerâ„¢.  This dramatically increases the life expectancy of the cover.

The Dyno-Thane Threshold NGS comes in Purple/Black Pearl and is available in 12 through 16 lbs.

with the same drilling the NGS is more angular, crosses carry down better due to the added particle enhancement.

Thicker coverstock than the original Threshold or am I missreading that pic on the ABS site?

wish I had an answer, I've called twice and got "someone will call you in regards to your order", no time table was given other than they are in meetings working things out.

I just want to share my thoughts on the recent adquisition of Columbia, Dynothane and Track by Ebonite. On todays corporate world this is becoming a common issue. Buyouts, merge, etc. But this transaction in particular has been handle very poorly. No one knows nothing, an air of secretivity has been around every topic regarding the companies bought. Why? Is this a national security issue? What is the problem of having an Ebonite's official making an statement explaining the reason and details of the purchase and the course of action that will be taken toward the cutomers insterest? Why there is no representative available in the companies bought to handle the day to day business until all the other issues are in placed. Why should we the bowlers, the ones that make business with these companies have to wait until all the reorganization is completed? No one knows for sure if the new equipment will be avilable, no one knows if the brand names will be kept. My impression is that the companies were playing poker and Ebonite won the hand. My comments are because of the lack of information regarding this deal, so don't try to justify anything because nothing is justifiable here !!!

A) All entities involved are privately held entities, therefore they are under no obligation to provide any information to anyone except any investors they might have.  Private companies are bought and sold everyday and the details of those transactions are very rarely public knowledge.

B) Chances are the deal is not finalized and all the details have not been ironed out.  What would the purpose of spreading partial information regarding the deal be?

Making public details of any corporate transation, I know is out of order. Maybe I didn't explain it properly. Ebonite could have assign an office to deal with the issues of each company purchased. Issues concerning the public. They also could have make an statement regarding if the new products for each company purchased will be available or will be discarded. If each company will keep their names and trademark or not. Right now I am interested in the new Threshold, what should I do, wait to see if is going out. I don't know if is going to be for the public. What should I do, wait because someone says that we have to be patient, patient for what? Or do what probably a lot other bowlers are doing, look for alternatives. Very poor public relations on Ebonite's part.

I thought this was the NGS thread?  Hey other guy, is a bajesus stick the same as a whoopin' stick over here in blue state country? Will the NGS be making any appearances on the East Coast anytime soon or is everything on hold?

at this time I don't think Ebo has a clue what they are going to do. Nothing has been stated about anything yet. I know the Other guy is out of the loop, so until Ebo makes a statement eveyone is in limbo from what I've heard.
