New Leather Heel for ABS Shoes

other guy are anyone that might know.

Buddies has listed a new leather heel for ABS shoes on their website ---> http://shop.buddiesproshop.com/product.asp?pf_id=DTESLEATHERHEEL

They do not have a pic of this heel.  My question is.  Is the teap drop shape cut out on the new heel?  Is Buddies purchasing them from DT or are they remanufacturing a red leather Dexter heel?  I'll phone Buddies and ask also, but would like to know from horses mouth so to speak.

I only see your adjusta-heel on DT's website.  Not the ABS leather heel that Buddies lists.

I've added a photo of the leather heel.  It is back leather (the orange one). I have not used it yet but I am told it is for maximum slide. Yes, it has the cutout in it. No it isn't from Dexter.

By the way, there are a a couple more heels on the way which are not yet available or on the website.  Stay tuned for that.

I posted this in the "Bags, Shoes, Accessories" forum, thought it would be of benefit here.

The leather heel does have a hole in it for the stabilizing "heel lock", but it does not protrude pass the leather.

Hmm, from what i've tried of it, it has about as much slide as the rubber heels, but maybe it just needs to be wore in.

Is there any chance of a completely felt heel coming in the future? The Adjust-a-heel works alright with the felt, but I occasionally stick on the rubber part.

P.S. They are the most comfortable shoes of any type i've ever worn though. I'm tempted to buy another pair for outdoor use

Tried the new full(back)leather heel last night, our approaches are wood and sliding in the middle of the approach has never been a problem. The sides however have always been kinda tacky, and shooting a ten pin for me was always a challenge to know if it was a slide or a stick shot...I practiced about 15 ten pin shots on 4 different lanes and ever shot was a pure slide. This for me is a great invention....thanks D/T,....I may never take this one off. jimensminger
