Thing Lives: My answer? Advice please :)
« on: December 03, 2004, 07:03:34 AM »
Hi,

I own a TRIPLE XTREME. I love the ball. BUT, if I use a stroking release, it won't recover. If I adjust by putting more hand into it, it jumps early and hard! The lanes in question are exceptionally slick in the center, friction at second arrow (plays like a track shot), and then slick on the gutter.

I am looking for a nonparticle ball (need to get through the heads easily) that will allow me to use a soft handed release while minimizing the out of bounds. I don't think the ACCU-Tread coverstock works exceptionally well on this (my DEUCE is similar in its difficulties). It seems the ACCU-Tread coverstock wants to set on oil, which is wonderful when I am right of the slick But, on this condition, I must play in the oil and swing to the friction without going too far right (washouts).

Mind you, I am not struggling on the conditions. Just looking to maximize my chances. I want to open the lane up a bit more.

Thanks!

when u say "i am looking for a non particle ball" are u refering to the xtreme as a particle ball?

Becuase its not particle, its a solid reactive.

maybe im just understanding what ur saying wrong.

Yes, sorry for any confusion...

I know the TRIPLE is not a particle... I am not looking for a particle. They seem to bite too quickly for the condition... but, I will admit, I was tempted to try a Raging Inferno on this shot.

Thanks for the replies though!
